Thanksgiving Coloring Pages

Original, free Thanksgiving coloring sheets for kids, classrooms and family tables, with ideas for using them well.

First set in progress. We are drawing the first Thanksgiving coloring pages now. Every page is original artwork and none uses licensed characters, so the collection will grow in small batches rather than all at once. Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26, and Thanksgiving 2027 falls on Thursday, November 25.

What the Thanksgiving coloring sheets collection will include

The first pages are simple, bold-outline designs that print well on a home printer and are easy for small hands:

Ways to use Thanksgiving coloring pages

Coloring tips for the best results

Colored pencils give the cleanest edges and almost never bleed through, which makes them the safest choice for younger children. Markers look vivid but can soak through thin paper, so slide a spare sheet under the page. For a warm autumn palette, try deep orange, golden yellow, burgundy, olive green and brown. Older kids and adults can add patterns inside each feather or leaf for a more detailed look.

Printing tips

Print at 100 percent scale on standard Letter or A4 paper. Plain 20 lb paper is fine for pencils, while 24 to 32 lb paper handles markers better. If a page looks faint, choose "high quality" in the printer settings and check that "fit to page" is not shrinking the margins.

Plan your holiday week

Thanksgiving is also a good moment to look at the calendar. See the November 2027 calendar for the 2027 date, or the 2027 holiday calendar for all federal holidays. Looking ahead to December? Our Christmas coloring pages hub is next.
